Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
No, I have no knowledge about "EBCM", I cleaned/restored only BCM.
Will look into where it is located and rip it apart.
Thank you!
Look at your brake fluid reservoir. "black box" next to it, just pull the 2 connectors at the top & clean/seal the contacts. Btw, make sure the connections are clean/sealed at the bcm and tcs.
Opened all connectors on front drivers side under the hood, cleaned everything and preserved, reconnected.
No change, same errors.
B2745 and B2725
Tomorrow, dashboard removal time!
After checking all cables as far I could get and.
Also transfer case module looks fine.
Errors still remain.
BCM: B2745
TCCM: B2725
Next step is to waste money, plan is to buy Transfer case switch.
I have 2007H base, with basic switch. Can I buy switch with rear lock and plug&play ?
Mine(image stolen from internets):
Can this one fit just fine? Of course I do not expect extra button to work.
When I opened my switch there was extra button for rear locker, but it was blocked with plastic and covered with Air bag bar, so I assume they are identical inside.
B2745 - Body control module - Traction control switch circuit - remained B2725 - TCCM - Mode switch circuit malfunction - gone
New switch has snappy buttons, previous one had mushy/sticky ones.
I can easily switch modes now, no errors thrown, previously I needed to clear codes, then switch modes.
Next step is to get Tech2 compatible tool and see what it spews out, will report back in 6 months
Update, almost for myself, to keep track of failures.
Still having "B2745" error.
Got Tech2 tool(sooner than promised 6 months), there was nothing addition in scanner or any more information to diagnose this problem.
BCM is clean, all connectors are clean, cables to BCM from TCS are fine, mode switch panel was replaced.
Of course, there is that 4% chance that TCS is broken on new mode switch panel too.
Next step is to get new BCM and program it, no sooner than next year!
