Default Traction Control Failure, Service Stab Sysytem

Good evening everyone. I have an issue with my 06 H3 A.T, it has 116k miles on it. I have replaced my battery terminal connectors, and just replaced my E.C.U. I still have the same issue, it's intermittent some times my truck will not start sometimes it starts first turn of the key. My traction control light comes on along with stably system battery and check engine and some times the P.A.S light is on. My truck won't crank or anything. When it does start the dash would light up with the above lights. The dials would die and the radio would go down in volume but not off. Everything still works apart from Cruze control. Any ideas, suggestions, Help!!! Thanks Terry

Try max protection to keep all those periods under control.

check your fuse box for corrosion on fuses and relays and also check your body grounds for corrosion.

Unplug the radio wires and see if the TC light still illuminates (after disconnecting batter, clearing any codes).

Ya, who installed the radio?

I installed my aftermarket radio using one of these:

Disconnecting the battery on an H3 does nothing, it stores the last 300 ignition cycles power or no power. It can turn of certain CEL depending upon the trigger, but the code is still there and the CEL will illuminate as soon as the PCM re-discovers the fault.

What is a P.A.S light? Was that passlock?????

Have you tried cleaning the ignition switch with CRC? Pic courtesy of hummerz...

Default Traction control failure

Mine was caused by the bcm. Brake control module. There is a company that rebuilds them so you don’t have to reprogram them.
