Default Traction control error code on dash after radio install

Hello, hope someone can help with a question? Yesterday replaced my h3 radio. Took the dash center off and disconnected the cigarette lighters, ac controls, traction controls and hazards connector. All went back together correctly. After I started the truck the dash says service the traction control and turns it off. No odb2 error codes and the truck runs fine. The traction control lights all work and the buttons as well. The Hummer goes into 4 wheel high and low with no issues. Traction control button works but it will not turn it on. Here is what I have done to diagnose. I have two h3 hummers both 2010 and identical.

1. disconnected the battery. No change
2. checked all fuses and relays. No change
3 took my traction control dash button module and put it on my other h3 to make sure it was not the issue. It worked fine in the other h3. No change
4. Checked the connector to the dash module for loose pin or damaged pins. No visual issues.
5. Went under the truck looking for anything disconnected or loose. No change

everything else in the truck runs and operates fine so not sure what’s going on. There are no abs lights or check engine lights. No error codes. Tomorrow I am going to have my battery checked just in case but there seems to be no issue there. Anyone have any ideas ?

Just tested the battery.. Tested fine. I have had no issues with it but had it tested anyway.
Drove the truck about 20 miles to see if it would go off. no change
Just disconnected all of the connections. - no change
- removed the radio
- removed the AC controls
-removed the Hazard switch
-removed the cig aux (2)
- disconnected the battery for 20 min.
- restarted the truck

What is upstream from the traction control switch?
Thank you for the recommendation Tanner

Sorry Tainter... instead of Tanner..

My next step is to replace the battery terminals to see if that makes a difference.

Welcome.

Scan it and post any code. Use a real scanner, not a code reader

If you are still trying to use the crappy azzed OEM Battery Terminal Connectors I would swap those out with Stingers or your favorite brand. Easy stuff.

Don't the autoparts stores scan for codes for free? Code readers and scanners give the same codes, I believe
