These trucks were ahead of the integration of most LED Bulbs into automotive use. These old BCMs track lighting (on/off/burnt out) with 12V power use, since LEDs have lower amp demand, that does not fit with the fixed parameters programmed into the BCM and other modules so it can cause issues. Happed early on when guys switched to LED tail lights and the cheap foreign versions caused all kinds of issues.

I have the Sylvania ZEVO Super Bright WHITE LED 3157 bulbs, no issues.
