Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
Suppose to be? By the looks of the pictures, those are not daylight white(5000k-5500k), instead it's called "cool" white(BLUE).
Same result as using original "warm" white (yellow). As I posted above, if you want the brightest light at night you need to stay between 5000k-5500k. Too much amber or too much blue washes out the light.
I mentioned twice that I can't understand why his pictures shows so much blue tint.
Perhaps you need to contact brothapig' and get your answer from him.
I happen to use these GTR Ultra 2.0 bulbs in my fog lights on my H3 and they read 5675K.

Don't know anything about gtr 2.0? Just calling it as I see it in the pics posted. I also test kelvins during home remodels installing surface mount round led light panels, and my customers have agreed to stay around 5000k, since it's the best to light up the room. Every light in my home/garage is led, inside and out.

I'm content, in my opinion works like a charm..
But if I could get the xenons, I would buy them if the hi and lo beam if in hummer they'll have hi and low in 2 different lights... (to much headache to install extra relais to make them work properly) because I like the lights themselves and also I would get the 7000k. Although its a bit illigal...
So, to answer some of the questions and address some concerns that have come up.
I purposely took my pictures in manual mode, so that the camera did not changes settings between headlight changes: F1.5, 1/15s, 4.30mm, ISO 50, and a white balance of 3300K.
This might have something to do with the lights looking so blue.
In real-life, they are not as blue as they are white. I have seen MANY cars with the same or bluer color on the highways since my change. Vs. the color charts in this thread, these are definitely 5000 - 6000. However, the change between the two bulbs was dramatic.
As I've driven these more, I have realized just how much better I can see with them, and I'm glad to say that I am getting happier and happier with them. The light reaches twice as far side to side as my old lights, which is what I was really missing. I haven't had anyone flash me, so I'm thinking my aiming is ok.
Finally, I didn't choose these as an accessory, and I certainly didn't choose them for the color. I was not happy with the amount or distribution of light from my old bulbs, and when combined with various discussions about the H3 reflectors not being the best, I thought I would have to upgrade to get the amount of light I thought necessary to overcome the reflectors. From this standpoint these bulbs definitely have succeeded. It just happens that all of the LED bulbs I found are in the 5000K range of color.
