Default Daytime running lights not turning on..?

This seems really stupid but.. I just installed my HID headlights and LED side markers and they are working great.

So i take off one fog light and replace the bulb with an LED bulb and I test it but I can't get it to come on, even the stock DRL that I have not unplugged yet would not come on... why the hell can't I figure out how to get the DRLs on.... ? This seems really idiotic :P lol help! I've tried all dial setting combinations in the cabin
you can see them sitting there, not putting on the housing again until I get them working. I'd also like to see about finding some new stock housings that arent all burnt up and nasty looking!

I don't think they come on unless the transmission is in drive.

Hmm, did you check all the fuses and relay?

Mine were burned and nasty also that's why I replaced them with 4" round LED work lights. It was cheaper than buying replacement housings on ebay for over $100 each.

Now my headlight reflectors are getting burned at the top just like the DRL's housings started....I've never seen such junk reflectors before. I'm trying to find a 7" round projector or LED light that will work but I don't know if aftermarket ones will fit in the rubber trim that surround the headlights.

You guys resurrected an over 5 year old thread going nuts about your DRL's. You already asked in another thread about them. Give people time to answer OR do the DRL diode mod so they are powered regardless of what the headlights are doing and solve your problems.
