RE: daytime running lamps
I have noticed that also, most H3's (like mine) have the yellow parking lights on during the day, but now and then I see an H3 with the headlights on for their day time running lights. Do you have your light setting on auto? are your tail lights on during the day too?

I recall someone mentioning here that it all depended on when your H3 was manufactured. H3s with the parking lights for DRLs were manufactured early 2006. Mid 2006 and on, headlights are used as the DRLs. I could be totally off target though, my memory's failing...alcohol induced of course=) I think if you look on your driver side door jam, there should be a 'born on date'. As for me my DRLs are the headlights, although I wouldn't mind having the option.

H3 never used the fog lamps with the DRL..fogs are turned on with a buttonand come on only in auto modewhen it's below the daytime light limits and then your headlights should be on too..if you turn to the manual mode, then the fogs will be on whenever the button is pushed.
My DRL are the front Signal lamps
