hopefully it will be ok.
this is the second one that has had the same issue so now we’re trying to figure out why it keeps killing that circuit.
were going to remove all the trailer construction and replace them and see if that could be the problem.
thanks Doc I appreciate you as always
ill update again soon.
How much do you want for your "failed" BCM's with shipping? I can inspect test advise with the BCM in hand!

The BCM does not have a single "brake circuit" output. Each bulb is individually controlled by the computer, so both the left and right BCM "bulb out" circuits would have to have "failed."

IMHO, the odds are that the hack job wiring on your rear lights and trailer hookup, along with the hack job wiring at your BCM, is your problem. There is no reason on the H3 to splice a trailer connector to the rear lights - the factory provides dedicated wiring in the stock wiring harness to use with a trailer. It is blunt cut and wrapped back in the harness, so you need to expose it before it can be used, but its there. Disconnect/isolate all of the 3rd party spliced in stuff and see if your lights start working again. Then rewire your trailer connector using the factory wiring and following the factory wiring diagram.

Look at your wiring diagram 2008 H3 Wiring Diagrams pgs 48-52

usually a bcm will shut off circuits it sees as shorted to preserve itself. and will usually come back after the short is resolved and bcm reset.

Hey everyone,
So, let me get everyone's thoughts on the update. I after replacing the BCM, The brakes and turn signals stopped again after a few days. I noticed the Fuse to the brake light was blown. I replaced it and the right side brake light came on and wound not go off. So, I pulled the BCM back out and discovered that 3 or the 4 prongs on one of the chips was melted. I have found another BCM. I can't find what would be causing that kind of damage. I have physically traced as many wires as I could uncover, checked the circuit for shorts and even disassembled all the grounds and cleaned them all to bare metal and reinstalled with dialectic protective grease.
So, if anyone has any ideas for me to try I would appreciate it. Also the wires to the Fues box look discolored. should I source a better fuse box and supply wires ?
