Did you clean the connector and contacts on the switch?
You mean the blue connector going into the black plastic part of the switch? I did clean that twice. Is there a benefit to pulling the black part and cleaning inside where it makes contact with the tumbler? Its only happened three times in the past couple months. One thing I did notice when it happened last was that the key seemed to stick a little when I went to turn it before it wouldn't start.
Also, still no problems on the stability failure front! Very likely was the battery or the body ground (one was a little loose). Still in the wait and see phase on it though.
One of the morals of this story I guess is don't trust a 18 year old kid at the parts store telling you your battery tests fine...
I just found a small vacuum leak at the throttle body. Very very small leak but the clip on the hose was broken and I think I could hear a bit of air escaping. Going to temporarily seal it, any chance this could be causing a misread on throttle position for the computer?
