I know this post is mostly about the lower power mode problem, but I did want to update it to the other issues:

I replaced all the TPMS sensors and haven't had that issue come back. PO had installed new tires and wheels, but used old sensors.

Thanks to this forum I was able to locate the problem for the heat not working as the actuator below the steering wheel. I have one on order, but in the mean took a flathead screwdriver and GENTLY moved the gear clockwise so I could at least have heat while I wait for a new actuator (its getting cold here at 7000'!)

I haven't had the passlock problem since it occurred that first time before I fixed the battery terminals knock on wood...

I ordered a Bluetooth OBDII adaptor so I can hook up my tablet and read codes on the fly as I anticipate this Stab sys fail to return and want to be ready when it does...

With
OBD2 scanner OBD2 scanner
,that can clear codes on the fly, then you can narrow down the source of the issue.

Read your owner's manual. you do not understand how the TCS button works, it performs 2 functions. Quick press turns off TCS, hold for several seconds turns off StabiliTrack. As soon as you shut off the running motor, the system defaults back to both TCS & StabiliTrack back on.

I did read the manual which says the light is supposed to illuminate and the message TCS off is supposed to illuminate. It doesn’t do anything no matter if I press it or hold it down. Did I miss something? Also of note is the button is a little sticky, unlike the 4x4 buttons which are firm and press easily...

Happened again while I was out running errands. Same message and lights with reduced power, however after I restarted after my appointment all messages and lights were gone and had full power. Pulled the codes and got:

P2122
B0790
U1000
C0240
C0899

Wondering if this is a bad PCM at this point.

C0899 low battery voltage detected.

Disconnect the module to isolate it from the CAN bus harness and connector. Check the CAN bus harness and connector for shorts or opens using a voltmeter.

Btw, check charging battery voltage.

I’m not familiar with the CAN Bus harness. A Google search didn’t turn anything up either?

Could All this rubbish be caused by an intermittently failing battery or charging system? I know my battery connections are good and I’ve gone over the wiring harness in there does not appear to be any shorts that are visible to the naked eye.

Yes, check alternator output when running with every accessory on. Should be 14.5v.
