Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

What have you done to your h2 today?

Awesome dude!
Yeah, I saw your posts about this mod & I was going to replicate it. You've gotten all my ducks in a row. I appreciate it.

Better light output over the lightbar or you just wanted something new?
I upgraded to the LED bulbs for the foglights. They update the vehicle & make it look new again.

The led light bar doesn't have the distance range that i'm looking for...i'm really happy with this set-up, it throws far enough lights...around 1200 meters on pencil beam and 450 meters on euro beam. The cornering beam on the brush guard lights up the sides pretty well. Time to **** the hell out of the Prius owners. lol!

Next, is to convert my 55w hid headlights to projector, got a good price from the retrofit source on Morimoto FX-R 3.0 projector with Apollo 3.0 shrouds and XSB led 80mm halos. I'm ordering 3 sets (1 for my truck, 1 for my wife H3 and 1 for my mom's H3 Alpha).

vac'd mine out last night. did the oil on it monday night for the summer and blew out the passages for the sunroof drains. hoping to keep some water out of it that mysteriously gets in there once in a while and causes havoc with my heated seats and gets my floor wet.

Thanks for that info! How far did the led light bar throw light in comparison? 2/3 the distance? Half? I don't need as much light as you, but more than my brights. Clearance is also an issue, so I'm staying away from your set up, despite how cool it is.

Yep, I'll be watching for how the headlights turn out as well. I'm still undecided there too & I have time to wait. The halos should look nice. I've been thinking about that kind of set up for a while now, and the only pair I saw were said to through light like an HID, in that they have a definable wall of light & then nothing but darkness. Not good.

That'll be one scary rig!

Installed a float charger since I rarely drive my H2 anymore. Paid her off and the mostly sits in the garage. Damn fun when I do take the thing out though!

Put in a new starter and HID's, running and headlights. Starter was cranking a bit slow. I believe it was the original. H2 2003... yipes.
