Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

What have you done to your h2 today?

Bought these on ebay. I had never seen them before, but they are an official GM product. If you have roof rails, these are a nice addition, although the instructions mention to not use them as tie downs. These are solid & heavy. No plastic here!

Now I'm just waiting on roof rails.

Synthetickiller- those are cool! Do you have a link to those or a part number?

They look nice, and may actually fit into my garage
I had to take off my roof bars since it was too tight of a fit for my liking with the 37's on.

Do you have a part number handy?

They are GM Part number 12499199.
These aren't as rare as the U steps, luckily.

I installed 2 roof racks. I wanted to see how 4 looks. I've ordered another 2.
It looks much more like a hummer now. It was naked before.
I'm not 100% happy with them, because the rubber strip doesn't fit perfectly on one & one of the bars has a decent bashed in part from shipping. Other than that, they seem like OEM H2 rails (I don't think they are). $240 a pair isn't too bad. They are just a pain in the *** to install, lol. At least till you understand how to do it. The included instructions are worthless.

A few more small mods on the way.

you have to go with 4 bars to complete the badass look. by the way, the roof rack **** has to be installed towards the back of the truck or at least mine are when i used to have 'em.

Thanks citiboy!
I'm doing a light bar eventually, so ours will look similar.
I also added HIDs today, too. I'll be testing out the light output tonight. It's just a temporary solution till I gut the buckets & install some LED headlights.

looks good SK, if your planning to install the led lights, i suggest to use this headlight switch with 2 aux light switch built-in so you don't have to drill any additional holes and it will look oem.
