What have you done to your H2 today?

Today I installed led taillights, fixed hood latch and replaced worn HVAC control buttons with decals purchased online.

 

Put gas into mine again sorry had too lol

 

Adjusted air on my tires to 45psi, getting low with this cold weather.

 

I replaced and reprogrammed brand new key fob for my 2003 H2. My old key fob didn't work for last year! So I purchased online new key fobs and reprogrammed it. So right now I have got back this kind of luxury to open and close truck with key less entry option!

 

Put in LED bulbs

Hey H2008, what did you do to your hood latch? Did you replace it?
If so, how?

 

Did the same on mine. $19 for the fob. Now I remote start too!

 

I verified the hood release wasn't broken, stuck or locked in the 'lock position'. As I watched the hood come down I could see that the latch wasn't triggering the release. I loosened the 3 latch release bolts and lifted the assembly up as high as it would go. Problem solved. Had to do the same on my father's '05. Not sure if the mechanism moves down on its own over time from closing the hood a lot... Or if the bolts weren't snug to begin with.

On 08-09 model, you can add the GM Advanced 2 Way Remote Kit P/N 19171129. I had mine a while back and it was awesome, longer range than the original remote plus you can check the current mileage, tire pressure, remaining gas in the tank, remote battery and signal indicator, change radio stations, remote start countdown timer and it shows which door is open or close with passlock icon. You can install it yourself to save some money and just go to the dealer for programming.
