What have you done to your h2 today?

I inquired before the tune if they wanted me to log any information as I have the scantool mx wifi. They said just make sure I had the MAF clean before I got their.
Anyway, after they plugged back in the MAF i forgot to reconnect (LOL) we just took a trip. I was interested in towing performance and being able to punch it and have the truck immediately kick in.
We drove around for about a 1/2 hour while the tech typed away on his laptop which was connected to the vehicle. Not sure about a standard program but it got better and better. It was tuned to my driving habits and towing.
I hooked the boat up yesterday and it trailed better then ever. It's a heavy beast and had 50 gallons of gas in it too. No problems at all.
Overall I picked up 1.5 mpg around town but I really wanted the performance which I got.
Not sure if this helps or not.

Glad you're happy with yours !
Nice . Where u got it
So..... as a few of you know I've only had my 03 for a couple of months now. Anyways I've had this frequent buzzing noise that I kept hearing and had been trying to track down. Loudest at my left ear. Thought it was the rain guard, maybe something on the door, the Onstar mic, etc. Finally determined it was the other little grille on the headliner just above my left ear... go figure. So you have two things up there on the headliner. The forward one is the Onstar microphone (by the way, if you install and aftermarket stereo with bluetooth for handsfree calling you can repurpose the Onstar mic for your aftermarket stereo).
The one just a little further back is the inside air temperature sensor for the climate control. Well this little doohickey has a fan in it that eventually the bearings just get worn out on and that little fan is what you might sometimes hear buzzing. Pretty much all GM vehicles with the automatic digital climate controls have this thing. On other vehicles others have tried everything from banging on it, sticking something in it to stop the fan, removing the fan from it, and oiling it. Nothing really works other than to replace it. If you just disconnect it your climate control will no longer work. If you stop or remove the fan your climate control temps will be constantly way off.
So GM calls this doohickey the inside air temp aspirator. I did not take pics when I put it in but its pretty simple. If you have a sunroof you can get at it like I did by pulling the headliner down around the sunroof opening enough to get to it (its still VERY tight up there and hard to get the connector off). Anyways you first have to just pull the little grille off that you see on the headliner. That is what holds it in place. Once you pull that off then you reach above the headliner, disconnect the plug, and plug the new one in. Position it over the hold in the headliner and snap the grille back on. There is also a piece of foam tape over the top and connector - try to save that and stick it on the new one. Its to prevent it from rattling against the roof.
All in all an easy fix and worth every cent for the new found blissful silence. I ordered my new one on Amazon for $27.72 with free Prime shipping.
This is what it looks like along with a shot with the top pulled off to see the dusty worn out fan inside. Its pretty small overall at only a couple of inches long. I'm not sure if the new models use a different part number. This one is for the 2003 model for sure.

New owner (3 weeks now),
Replaces tires, Still had the originals tires on it
Replaced Hood Check Cables
- one was rusted through used wire rope and hardware from Local hardware store.
Replaced Oil Pressure sensor last week - glad wife works for an auto supply store (damn tight fit).
Glued front passenger door tray to door as screws had broken off.
Discovered my 2004 onstar is useless as it was not upgraded.
Discovered rear coils (look brand new) not air suspension
No CD for navigation System.
I am replacing stock Headlights with LED ones this weekend.
I have a lightbar I want to add to front. Can I use the terminated connectors that are in front of the passenger headlight ? I know there is a space in the fusebox, probably just need to find where it is under the dash to add a switch ?? any Ideas?

Got a bit done this weekend. Converted all the dash lighting to red. Not going to go into all the details on doing this as its basically the same as on GM trucks which is documented on the web many times over. One thing I do slightly different than most though is I use red silicone bulb covers (just like the bluish greenish ones the factory uses). I've found on previous work like this that replacing everything with LED's can have some drawbacks. First is that they generally do not dim properly. Second is that its not easy to find the exact ones I'd want, all seem to be "SUPER BRIGHT" and I'm not really wanting to be blinded by my dash. Third - on the couple of times I've used LED's in the cluster - after 6 months half of them start failing, blinking, or just totally dead and I end up replacing them with incandescent bulbs anyways.
One thing I did do and I'm going to eventually go back in and change, the left side of the temp *****, I should have left those bulbs without red sleeves. It made the blue part of the temp scale printed on look red. Oh well... I also have not yet done all the switches on the doors and ceiling console. I'll eventually get to those too. Oh.... and if you feel like it you can easily rearrange the order of the tow/haul, height control (if you have air ride), and traction control buttons when you have that part of your dash open.
Probably the most interesting bit is the left side. On the headlight switch, the two icons on the dimmer part have never lit up from the factory on any GM truck. Ever. The translucent areas are under them on the printed overlay but GM never put any lights there. Tricky to do but I added additional lights in that part to make the dimmer icons light up too.
The last one is the rear wiper / fog light switch. Wait, what? Fog light switch???? No Hummer H2 has ever come with a fog light switch. There are no fog lights. Yet there it is, a factory ACDelco GM switch with the rear wipers and a fog light button.
Ok..... grab you one on eBay. They came out of Tahoe's, Yukons, Suburbans, and Escalades. Its an exact replacement for your current rear wiper switch. Also make sure to get one with the wiring pigtail.... I did not and now I'm waiting to get that so I can extract the 3 additional pins to put into the plug on mine so I can then work on wiring it. On your factory plug, its correct but the extra pins just do not have any wires in them... I'm thinking I'll just use a latching relay since the button is momentary. My plan is to wire that to the current daytime running lights which most people think are fog lights anyways.
