you might have a broken wire in the door harness. usually in the rubber boot going into the door

Thats definitely the problem..... the PDM (passenger door module / window switch) is the keyless entry receiver.

Ah ha! Eureka. And would that be somewhere inside the door itself? Or in the xab somewhere? Thanks....

Yes it is in the door (panel) the PDM is the actual window switch module (and is also the wireless receiver module). If the entire door is dead then either that module itself has died or something is wrong with the power to it.

Found it. Passenger Door Module power fuse was either not pushed in correctly or something in/around that fuse block (inside to left of dash) area was loose. Pulled the fuse to check it and found it to be OK. Reinstalled the fuse, pushed on the wire loom connector next to it, and everything worked. Voila! That also solv3d my problem with the FOB not working as the remote control is located in the passenger door module. Yea!
