Hello all.. New member here.. I just bought a 2006 h3.. I do have a key.. But its.not a chipped key.. And no key fob.. Can someone point me in the right direction to make this start ?

 

H3's don't have/use 'chipped' keys. If the key you got with it doesn't work you have other problems. Wrong key, worn out key, bad ignition switch, etc.

Many of the early I5s have lost the connection between the key fob and BCM so it is a crap shoot whether you can get a new fob that will properly program to communicate with the BCM to unlock/lock doors.

 

By your question I thought you meant even the key wouldn't work?
