Got new Delphi key fobs and want to get them programmed.

Anything I can do other than giving $80 to the local Chevy crooks?

I had my 08 programmed at my local Ace Lock N Key for $40. Took him literally 3 minutes. My 07 didn’t come with a FOB. I bought one and it wouldn’t program. The truck wouldn’t receive the signal from the FOB but his programmer was picking up my keyless entry system. I’ve been told it’s prolly a messed up antenna over on the passenger side behind the dash. I haven’t had the time nor the want too to look further into it. Short story shorter I wouldn’t pay the local stealer to do it. Any locksmith that has FOBs on the wall for sale can do it cheap.

 

Sometime ago I mentioned about my front top corner lights did not work. Removed the yellow lens and no wires, bulb socket are bulb. So I wired them up and works great.
Now I decided to do the three in the middle. Found 3 at auto store. They are 2"x 1" .Took some doing, They look good.. 5 in the front. Now to the back. I put 3 small round red ones in top of back door. Just need to wire up to left tail light. Sometime today.
I have a leak in my power steering high or low pressure hose. I think the low pressure one. Will change the belt at same time. H3 running good. Gotta love it.

Hi all. New member here. I just bought a 2007 H3 with 185k miles. I'm not sure but it's probably H3Adventure. My car has only one key without fob or remote control. Does anyone know if all Hummer H3 2007s originally come with a fob/remote? If yes, how can I add a new fob? If not, can I fob-enable the car? Thank you.

 

I 'll try this again as I deleted my first one. My 08 alpha came with no key fob. I purchased 4 on eBay. The dealer don't like to program eBay one's. Most will not.. They want to sell you the original GM ones for $167.00. But they did 2 of mine for $30.00 apiece. No guarantee. ( I spent a lot of money there ) I will give the new owner all 4 when I sell the 08. New owner can have the other 2 programmed. Hint. locksmiths don't like eBay ones either. Hint, My 08 alpha is still for sell, craigslist Chicago. Solar Flair color. Read the list of things. Best deal on 08 alpha.

 

You dug up an OLD Thread to tack on a question? ALL H3s came with two keys and fobs. After a while many BCMs degrade from corrosion due to Sunroof leaks or multiple dead batteries, then the fobs stop working. Search it out, avoid digging up old threads.
