CEL with Codes P0449 & P0455
So today my CEL came on showing codes P0449 & P0455. I have been told that since there is not a leak in my emissions system it is likely that the MAP Sensor has gone bad and needs to be replaced.
Anyone here have any experience replacing this? It looks like a pretty simple job but before I start and wanted to post it here to see if anyone had any input, ideas, or others things that can be throwing the codes.
Any help appreciated!!!

I am trying to remove and replace the existing purge valve and I am not sure how to remove the 2 hoses that are connected to the existing valve.
I have attached pictures of the connections, I am just looking for some input before I start forcing something and brake a clips
Thanks

Before doing that Please remove your gas cap.. the retightn it use the scan tool to turn the code off.. see if the CE light comes on again. if it doesnt then your gas cap was merely loose.

I wish it was that easy... Already tried the gas cap and replaced it with a new one

Does anyone have the specific part number for this? In your picture Mgurogone it looks like only a small valve and everything I google comes up with a whole canister pt# Dorman 911-070. If I can find it I will update this post. Mahalo for all your support!
Update: Do not buy the entire unit as listed by the part number above. You only need the Canister Purge Valve (make your own hose if it cracks). Part number AcDelco 214-2147. The part is $28.00 Amazon vs $146.00 for the "kit" that includes the hose.
Thanks for this great post as I am sure many more will incur this problem as time goes on.
