Had a similar problem tonight, got in interior lights come on, tried to start and everything went out key stuck in ignition. Got the jump start box out, cranked it over and started no problems. Battery voltage is good with no dimming of any lights on rpm changes. Ran it for a few minutes and did the dreaded restart with no problems. I just had to reset my aftermarket deck back to all my settings. I suspect bad battery terminals right now mainly because I still have the original battery and terminals on and the terminals look cheap. Gonna just replace the battery and terminals anyway since I'm gonna upgrade the audio system again in the near future.

BTW, will an Optima Red fit in the stock battery box? Gonna hit the search for now.

I have seen the double battery install, looks nice. Wiring and terminals looks heavy duty, just what I need for future winch install.

Post some pics drtom, we could always use more suggestions to choose from.
Thanks!

i love the factory crimp, cant be beat, except by hunner,,,and his pals giant shop!!
see also ,maybe hunner batt tray??

those other cutsie "batt bling"connectors use itsy bitsy set screws not meant for man sized cars!
the brass is cheep n ugly,,lifetime guarantee!! note it uses part of your existing conn, the bolt thru the brass and factory crimp,,,rock solid

ready for winch install, see brass bolt for accs!! solid ,,no set screws
