I am going nuts bieng on bedrest for the last few weeks, so last night I waited till 2 am when I knew my wife was asleep and snuck out to take the new truck for a spin. I left a note on my pillow in case she woke up, so she wouldn't worry. I went out for a 30 minute drive or so and got pulled over for doing 50 in a 35....luckily I got away with only a written warning. Well I snuck back into bed and all was good....she never woke up!! It all fell apart around 7 o'clock tonight when she was doing the laundry and found the written warning in my pants pocket, dated this morning at 2:25 AM....DOH!!!!!!!

SO I'm busted, can't talk my way out of it...might as well come clean...........Hun, my brother wore those pants last night cause his ripped and he dropped them off today while you were at work. Why is my Dodge vin # and plate #'s on the ticket ? ....umm...see....his pants ripped while he was trying to fix his jeep on the side of the road when it died on him. He walked to our house and took my pants and my truck. Thats EXACTLY what happened hun.





I don't think she bought it[&:] This one may cost me a few pairs of shoes to get out of.

It was a darn good attempt...specially on the fly when she caught me by surprise!! I guess I'm gonna have to come clean but you know with that comes "well if your feeling good enough to climb up into the new truck and drive around then you must feel good enough to......(enter the honey-doo list here)" Either way I'm screwed
