temperature gauge not working
- Low engine coolant level
- Faulty Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor
- Faulty engine coolant thermostat
- Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor harness is open or shorted
- Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor electrical circuit poor connection
Possible causes for a P0118:
- Low engine coolant level
- Faulty Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor
- Faulty engine coolant thermostat
- Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor harness is open or shorted
- Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor electrical circuit poor connection

im having an on going issue with my temp gauge not working. at times it reads fine but then will all of a sudden quit reading, wich then causes the "ac off" to come on the dash and the ac quits working. what could this b? sensor? faulty temp gauge? please help i have a one year old daughter and it sucks when the ac shuts off while shes with me. i live in texas so its HOT!
