Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
UPDATE:Just let in run for 10 min in the driveway. Cold engine and no drips of any kind (see pic) , after 10 min, warm engine oil oozing from pan (see pic) and milkshake on oil dipstick and under fill cap.
headgasket was replaced 50-ish miles ago.
Headgasket is leaking water/coolant into the oil. Either that or you have a cracked block. There's a reason that "shade tree" mechanics don't actually do mechanical work for a living.

sooo… had it towed to a shop. They said to diagnose the overheating and milkshake it will be $2,800 bc “ it probably needs a new engine which will be around $10k.”
Someone on this thread said that the previous mechanic could have put the new head gasket on wrong causing it to overheat. Would that also cause the milkshake or is the milkshake a DEFINITE sign of a cracked block? Why is the block cracked? It wasn’t overheating until until mechanic put the headgasket on.
What else could be wrong? Is this for sure a major issue with milkshake and overheating?
Is there a way to see if the headgasket is on upside down without paying the shop $2800 to determine this?
What would you all do? Legit, helpful recommendations please. We don’t want to sell it.

thanks in advance
You need to check if the pump is pumping. If the gasket is turned over, the pump will not pump. Engine for repair.
