Default need new radiator

Wifes 07 h3 radiator leaking around top were plastic meets aluminum like all others. We use it to pull boat during summer with family. Checked with ron davis racing on an aluminum one but hate to spend $1000 on one. I know it will cool better and last longest. Have read the new GM radiator folks say the temp is running higher. Live in alabama andin summer pulling boat it alredy runs a littla higher then under normal operation. Was wondering if there is another company that makes an aluminum rad or would just going back stock be ok with the new ones. Or is ron davis the only company Thanks for help.

1k for a rad? I could think of better things to spend a grand on... I installed a silla, got it from stylin trucks, $110.00 shipped. I could get 8 more for the price of that aluminum 1. Replaced the hoses & tstat housing too. Haven't lost any coolant since and operates @ normal temp. 1/2-5/8 on the gauge..

As I have said in other posts, I will never install another stock radiator. Three in 5 years is two too many. I will go back with aluminum, but not for $1000. You can get them for a couple of hundred, but you'll have to figure out how to mount it.

Got the radiator cleaned and dryed off it is actually split on the plastic on driver side. Away from were it is rubbing on frame at upper support. Split about 6 inches long on front side. So I guess no other company makes a drop in all aluminum rad.
