do they work if you cycle them manually? any transmission related codes?
broken tranny harness? bad rebuild? bad replacement ECU? dirty pins?

Welcome.

What Transmission in what vehicle????????????????? We supposed to guess? I'll guess H3, since you took it upon yourself to post it in the H3 FAQ Section without bothering to READ the sticky threads at the top before posting where it says: Do not post in this section Which contains...
"Please DO NOT POST IN THIS SECTION just because you thought up some question!!!!!! This includes all you newbs. Use the search feature and look up your question(s) first, you will most assuredly find your answer." So I will move it to the H3 section for you.

If you paid to have it rebuilt, the rebuilder apparently did not do a very good job, take it back and tell them to make it right.

IT IS H3 BASE MODEL with 4L60e transmission. brand new ecu installed. it does give a code #0717 input speed sensor . but i just had the transmission rebuilt.
is this the sensor inside the transmission? could it be a bad ground ? do i have to remove the transmission again to fix this? please help. ive spent over $2000 and i still can not drive

You have a broken cable. Everything is written in the manual. Good luck.
