Default HELP: Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Screw Size

Does anyone know the official screw size for the MAF on the stock 08 air box??

I just swapped out my K&N CAI for an AirDoc on my 2008 H3 and my VERY LAST step was to clean/reconnect the MAF. When I went to screw in the MAF using the repurposed MAF screws from the K&N, I found out that they were not the correct size for the stock air box tube. I put the K&N on a few years back and don't remember removing the screws and using new ones provided by K&N. Now I can't find my originals. I'm fairly certain the screws I have that are too large in diameter are M4-.7 12mm screws. Stopping by Ace Hardware tomorrow but any official word on the size would be great. I can't seem to find that information anywhere.

Got a BIG drawing for you with a PN for the screws, but I forgot to go out and actually measure one when I got home. Since DST, I think I can do that today.

#2 in the diagram.

Bolt/SCREW - A/CL. Part Number:88967326 $6.93 each. I think any size that sufficiently bites into the plastic holes of the Air Filter Box outlet ought to do.

Much appreciated, Doc. Went out that night and purchased a couple M3-.5 x 16mm screws, as this was the only thing close and they actually screwed in tight. Thought they would be too long. Did run out to Ace the next day and ended up getting M3-.5-12mm just in case but I guess I'll monitor them and make sure it stays snug. Appreciate all the help, though! Love the AirDoc so far

So, here it is....................... M3 x 10MM, pitch is close to maybe 1.12. In plastic the pitch is not critical. So you M3.5 is all good, plenty of bite, no gouging. This time I have BIG pictures of a little screw.

I like that 'high end' equipment you have there Doc. I have a couple myself from back in the day when ACO had them for a penny with the coupon.
