Error Codes
Hello all. New to site. I have a 2008 H3 Base model. It has 199k on it and has been bullet proof. I am the original owner. Two weeks ago I completely drained my battery by accident. Charged it back up and didn’t attempt to drive rig until yesterday. When I did it would not shift out of park. I then noticed the display reading service stab traction fail. Read a bunch of forums. Checked fuses. Removed battery. Reconnected battery. Replaced battery with another one. Cleaned connections on yaw sensor and motor on t-case (forget the name of it). I don’t have a code reader and rig won’t move. I’m in rural Alaska with no help close by. Any solid suggestions would be appreciated. Not sure if this is the correct place to post this or not. Thanks in advance.

You should do some searching. There are some topics on battery fail/drain issues.
When you replaced the battery. Did you meet or exceed (hopefully upgraded some) requirement? Search for other suggestions.

Hey. After seeing several of you suggesting disconnecting the battery overnight, I followed your advice. This morning I reconnected the battery and turned it over. ALL ERROR CODES ARE GONE and the rig came out of park no issue. Also, at the suggestion of several of you, I replaced the stock terminal connectors today. Hooked battery back up and all is still good to go. I’ll keep an eye on it but for now all is right with my H3. And the cost was a new battery and terminal connectors (192 bucks). Batt was 4 years old so needed a new one anyway.
