Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
yk what I mean it’s been hell of a week so based off what he said what you think
I think you need to find another reputable repair shop. A good shop has access and can look up the specs for your vehicle. If the test they did was accurate and they found 12 psi @ 1200 rpms, and if what Hummerz shows on that spec sheet of 12 psi @ 1200 rpm is correct. Then your engine is not “Gone” as your mechanic said. They should have known this.
Im not sure where you’re located, but you need to find another mechanic. You’re spending allot of money with the wrong guy. You’d be better off spending that money at a Chevy dealership repair center, if you can’t find another quality shop.

very very very small town lol like few shops around here most backed up weeks because can’t get anybody to work
Why is the engine temperature so high? temperature needle should be no higher than the middle
The dash Temp gauge in the pic is NORMAL, anything under 3/4 is NORMAL because the dash gauges are basically an idiot light with a needle. You need to read the actual temp with a scan gauge to know what the dash gauge is really telling you.

They can't get anybody to work because they likely pay crap and capable mechanics do not have to work for peanuts so they go elsewhere. Just like you should. Obviously they are INCOMPETENT based upon what you are saying your were told by those BOZOS. There is no general rule of 10psi/100 rpm, complete BS! Like the internet, there is some good information, there is some BS, and there is some good BS. You have to have the ability to understand which is which.
