Hello, I bought a 2008 Hummer H3 that someone swapped a 2007 engine into
i rebuild it as new but the only problem is that the engine come with 2 camshaft sensors but harness and wiring of 2008 come with only 1 socket so i have a disconnected camshaft position sensor and always starting problems
your cooperation is highly appreciated

 

I'm in NO way certain if a 2008 can utilize a (06 or 07 engine/harness) without modifications? Clearly you will not be able to operate it with out the extra cam shaft plugged in with reliability. This is a question outside the scope of normal H3 stuff, so i will defer to others who are more knowledgeable.

hi sir I'm just using the car its running smoothly just daily it fail to start on the first attempt
the wiring belong to 2008 but the engine is 2006 so I have only 1 socket but there 2 sensors
so while scanning the car always same error coming

 

First post you said 2007, now you say 2006???? Which is it, 2007s are 3.7L and 2006s are 3.5L?
