Has anyone attempted to swap out the 3.5L gas engine in a Hummer H3 with a 2.8L Durmax Diesel Turbo engine from a 2016-18 Canyon or Colorado? If so, can you share some general details and information? Thank you in advance.....

 

There are about five H3 diesel conversions on the planet. 16-18 Colly Canyons have an entirely different front steering geometry so a motor from there it is not a bolt in.

The information is you will spend a fortune to try to make it work, gonna need HP Tuners, and you'd be spending it on a 15 year old truck worth not much.
