Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
I've found a lot of threads regarding the anti theft system, doesn't quite fit my symptoms. I don't see the locking light and it doesn't disable fuel for 10min - my symptoms only happen after the truck has fully warmed and if I let it sit for 10-20min. Also starts up on second try every time.
NOT PASSLOCK!
Ignition switch continuity! Many YT videos with a conspiracy theory like this:
So what's the fix? Start the truck with a screw driver? Haha
My video was meant to prove NO CHIP in lock cylinder housing!
My 07H3 starts up every time within 3 revolutions of cranking(previously cleaned with CC)!
DID YOU CLEAN IGNITION SWITCH CONNECTOR & CONTACTS?

To clean the contacts do take apart the switch or just spray CC inside and all over? I hear the ***** inside the switch are PITA to put back and you have to know how to align them.

Bruh, I'm talking about the switch it self, do you take the switch cover off and remove all the internals, springs, etc. to clean the switch plate? Or do you just huff this CC stuff and let the entire assembly just soak?
Cleaning the connector is straight forward, I'm talking about the contacts inside, which is what I'm assuming you mean by "contacts"
Looks like it was the crankshaft position sensor, replaced it and did the case relearn, no more crank no start - at least for now. If it happens again I'll clean the ignition switch next.
The crank sensor I pulled had one of the o-rings kinked and forced into the slot, it was pretty cooked on there. Not sure if that had anything to do with what I was experiencing.
