the only dangerous part would be that you put the transfer case in neutral as you move the selector and the truck moves while your under there so make Shure the truck can not roll over you.

i can’t put the case on natural. Cus my encoder is bad . When I take the encoder off. Do I shift with a wrench? And people say u don’t have to have it on N to replace it. You just need to have it on 4 high

Yes, its indexed to go in 1 way. make sure it goes flat to the housing and bolt holes line up, then install the bolts and tighten.

Default Update

UPDATE
got the new encoder and installed it and it fixed the problem ! Now the 4 wheel high light is on and it switching between all of them with no problem!

I have a stupid question. When to use 4 wheel high lock? And 4 wheel low lock? And what the speed that you shouldn’t go pass on those setups? I was missing around the buttons and I put it on 4 wheel low lock and put it on drive but the car is like very very sluggish and barely want to move . Is that normal?

thanks alot guys

Okay but does the 4wheel low lock usually sluggish and car barely move? Maybe cus it’s not meant to be activated on dry surface?
