My 06 h3 is leaking horribly on the passenger side I can’t tell where it’s coming from but it coats my entire front subframe front diff and everything it’s leaking about 4qts a week or so any help is appreciated will try to attach photos if I can

 

Oil Leak detection 101.

1) Open hood.
2) Clean the leaking oil mess with degreaser and a power washer top to bottom, fill the oil to proper level.
3) If needed, put the vehicle on ramps up front then do #1 from the bottom.
4) Start engine, get under with bright flash/work light and LOOK where it is coming from.

 

is it a I5 engine? could be the vvt solenoid.

 

I think Bronxteck's idea of the solenoid makes sense.

Did the leak happen to start after getting an oil change? If so, check the oil filter for leaking oil (or make sure it has an oil filter on!). 4 qt.'s per week is a ton of oil loss. I imagine it must be something large.

Also, where is the highest part of the engine bay you can see leaking oil on (before washing it)?
