Default Oil Leak

This is my first post and did a search but have not found a similar topic. I have a 2007 H3 with the 3.7L, L5 engine, 140k miles, that is leaking oil. I've cleaned the entire engine compartment and from what I can tell the oil is leaking around the oil pressure switch from on top of the oil filter housing. The filter itself is completely dry so I know it's not the oil filter leaking. Can a bad oil pressure switch leak a lot of oil or is there a gasket on the oil filter housing that goes bad. The oil pressure switch has never been replaced. Any help would be great...

Welcome to HF.

BTW, it's your second post, and it does not belong in the New Member section as it says at the top.... "THIS SECTION IS NOT FOR TECH QUESTIONS!!"

So I moved it to the H3 section, where tech questions about H3s go.

Did you check to see if the sensor is loose???

Resolved problem with the oil leak. Replaced oil pressure sensor switch, cleaned electrical connector and did an oil change.
