You ACDelco pile looks exciting I saw a similar device to your problem solver in a video.

I know you've recommended the SeaFoam top engine cleaner. Have you heard of running a line right onto the fuel rail with carb/choke cleaner to clean fuel injectors, specifically? I am wondering if it would help with cleaning the valves, too.

Did you purchase the fuel injection cleaner tool in the link you sent? Also, do you use top tier fuel and ethanol-free fuel?

I use a pia10 fuel induction applicator and seafoam. Disconnect the vacuum line to the throttle body, plug the line, and install a piece of line to the throttle body to connect to. It has a valve to control flow, and sight glass, I adjust to a slow drip and run the engine at 1800 until the applicator is empty. Yes, TOP TIER™ Gas only.

Okay, cool. Understanding how the fuel induction system works, I feel a bit more confidence in the SeaFoam top engine spray.

The I5 injectors are "port" injectors, correct? If so, I'm thinking if I blow carb cleaner right into the fuel rail (with fuel pump fuse out) through bit of tubing, I should be able to clean my intake valves pretty well.

I am going to add catch cans to the PCV system to keep my intake and valves free of oil from the breathers. My stock baffle has a tonnn of oil in it, so the catch cans should help reduce buildup on valves and the throttle body.

The fuel injectors get cleaned with treatment added to the fuel. Back then I purchased a gallon of
LUCAS LUC10013 10013 Fuel Treatment - 1 Gallon LUCAS LUC10013 10013 Fuel Treatment - 1 Gallon
(this site changes amazon to ebay?.$25.59 here>>
amazon amazon
)autozone on sale @19.99,and add a few ounces to the tank a couple times a year.
pcv info here: Oil sucking out PCV

These engines do have port injection, right? Not direct injection? If they are port injection, I'm going to also try carb cleaner through the fuel rail through the injectors so the injectors "spray" the intake valves directly. My purpose would be to clean the valves but with an added benefit of cleaning the injectors. The method would be something like this:

GDI? Why go through all that to clean the injectors when you can simply add a treatment?

The purpose would be to clean the valves, but through the injectors. Carb cleaner would break it down pretty quick, I imagine. It doesn't seem like much work haha. So is the 3.7L GDI? I still haven't found an answer lol. I know the video is for injectors, but my intention would be directly targeting the grimy part of the intake valves. My plan would be to run the engine solely on carb cleaner through the fuel rail, which would include the injectors shooting the top of the valves with carb cleaner through their normal operation (if they are port injected engines, if not, it wouldn't work).

NOT GDI. Do some research on GDI engines.
A comparison, GDI injector vs LLR PFI injector:

I did some researching I'm glad they are port injected, and thank you for providing clarity. I'll make a video describing the process I'm imaging with the carb cleaner through the fuel rail to clean the intake valves. I wish I could easily compare "before" and "after". I'll do your suggested SeaFoam top engine through the throttle body. I'll also do the carb cleaner method. I might do the induction cleaner eventually, too.
