Default Torque converter recommendation

I will be on my third 6l80 in 150k miles. This one blew up suddenly. On the highway it started shuddering a little bit and within 10 miles I had no forward motion. Trans temp was shooting way up and the fluid is very burnt. I threw two bottles of lucas in it and somehow made it 5 miles home using a LOT of momentum.

Anyway trans is probably screwed as well as torque converter. But honestly in the off chance I pull the bellhousing and the pump isnt completely ruined, I'll probably just throw another tc in it and flush everything.

What torque converter would y'all recommend. I don't want to throw a nice circle d in a trans that has a 50/50 shot at life, but if it lives, I'd like to have a decent converter that'll last me a while. Looking at $500ish or less. Saw a couple brands like transtar recon and florida torque converter with billet faces, but I'm not sure if they're good or not.

trans depot in Hudson Florida, I've got 3 trans/converters sets and getting ready to order another trans from them,
They also have converters for sale, look at the 6L80 HD converter, give them a call and talk with them.
I have a solid roller 496 BB in my vette with one of their 200r trans and one of their converters. I've did my best to destroy it and have not had any issues at all.
I have a stage II 4L60 in a short bed 99 Silverado with a built 6.0 in it with one of their converters and have not had any issues with that one either.

they offer the best warranty I can find, for the 4L60 I'm getting ready to order its 3 years unlimited millage

the only issue I can see is if a trans fails within warranty I have to send it back to them and pay shipping, around 200 bucks
