Default Torque converter issue

G'day all,

I'm a new member so not sure if this has been covered.
I've just had my gear box rebuilt twice first time had the old 3rd and 4th gear issue then after that repair had the torque converter not going into lockup. Now it's going fine until it gets hot after driving for awhile. Won't engage lockup at all and revs at 2600rpm doing 100km/h. I read on another forum that it could be a PMC issue not regulating the trans temp. Has anyone had this or have any ideas???
2008 H3 3.7lt with 197000 on the clock.

The PCM cannot control trans temp caused by slipping, poor fluid & filter quality (dirty), or valve body issues. How many miles ago was the last rebuild?

If you paid somebody to do your rebuild recently, I would be up in their face asking why they do poor work. A skilled Trans Technician can rebuild a AT to better than new, but there is no shortage of half azzed lazy grease monkeys that take your money and have no pride in doing their work to perfection.

G'day Doc Olds. I had it done less than 1000kms ago. The guys that done the rebuild did a good job. I had a problem after I picked it up and took it back to them they pulled the whole thing down and fixed it up no worries. It only seems to happen once it gets hot or been driving for a while. I'll definitely give them a call back and ask some more questions. I have a sneaking suspicion that it's something electrical not mechanical because mt YAW sensor just crapped itself last week too
