Question Ranco lift bushes H2

I have a 2004 H2 with a Ranco lift. The bushes in the front differential are non standard as you have to do some cutting when doing the lift. Two of the bushings are breaking up badly now. Ranco say they do not make them anymore and cannot help. Does anyone know when i might find these bushings so I can stay on the road.

If you don't have a metal lathe, any machine shop should be able to make you some replacements out of aluminum. I used to make solid leaf spring shackle bushings on the lathe all the time. (The racing crowd prefers solid suspension bushings. Improves the handling. Not to mention they're a lot more durable)

Another idea would be to check with someone like Energy Suspension and see if they have something similar, chances are they might have even made them for Rancho.

That's another excellent idea if you don't want the solid bushings.... but I would go ahead and have two sets made, hasn't appears your lift kit really eats them up?

Yes it does. Also eats CV joints, I'm on my second set now!
