The coolant reservoir for an Alpha has a different cold full line than the I5s, and I pointed this out to you in another thread with pictures where you tried the same chit. The level is spot on where it is. Live and learn.
After 40yrs in auto repair ASE/MT/SA/SM/SO retired, I know where the overflow should be cold (GM at the seam).
You go any lower than your current level you will be sucking air causing issues!
You need to do more research proper tank level cold.
So you posted an online pic from somebody that has their Res overfilled in defense of your ignorant statement? What was the coolant temp at the time the pic was taken?
I had an 07, it is different than an 09 Alpha. I know where the fill line is, you do not, pretty obvious.
Looky looky at the fill line for the Alpha, way down below the mold joint all the way down at the bottom of the Res where it curves.....

Picture posted from new car show review back in 2008. Arrow is absolute minimum full cold is above. Fill to tank seam is FULL COLD also allows more time when a leak develops without causing overheat condition. If you came into my shop for service coolant system would be inspected for leaks and coolant would be added. Drive on.
