Replacing the hood

I have a 2007 Tactical which was recently in a hail storm, only part damaged was the hood - I've found a AAA condition hood at a breaker - how easy or hard are they to install? Any advice appreciated.

Should be fairly easy. The only bolts are at the hinges. You need a second set of hands though. The hood is bulky and heavy. Not a one person job.

id put padding all around where you just know its gonna hit and scratch.
like pillows etc, carpet, whatever!

Mark around the hood where the hinges are now. Transfer that to the new hood. Should give you a reference point for where to bolt up the new hood to the hinges. Adjust for fit and finish from there.
