I just tried to get the $77.00/1 year deal from XM and much like some others here, XM wouldn't budge. They said it doesn't exist anymore. Nothing seemed to work so I gave in and paid the higher price. Oh well, it's always worth a try on these things.

 

My trial was set to expire on 4/5, I got the mail deal for $147.00/yr. but decided to give them a call Friday night.

"So my dealer said to call you folks and give my radio number and I could renew for $77.00/yr"
"well let me see if I can locate that, yes sir we can do that"

needless to say, Idid itreal fast...

fyi...XM is still doing the $77/yr renewel deal. This time it's called the Christmas special

has xm and sirius recently combined some of there stations or has xm just gained a few?

 

i think the stations have now been combined, at least on the XM side it appears so (i.e. new channel lineup)

 

I recently tried it and it does work. I was happy

 

as of 12/3/08 there is no $77 deal. they said $142 a year or $172 a year with the best of sirus. i said forget. i always had sirus and then when i got my 06 h3 i did not bring it in the h3. i tried xm and after a month i cancled cause i hated it. so when i heard there was a deal i thought for the price i would give it another go for $77 but when i checked they said no x-mas deal going on.

 

I wonder if they'll have the new a-la-carte pricing structure once 2009 begins, would be nice to consider when i'm up for renewal in February

So in a matter of 12 days the $77 "Christmas Special" is no longer available? That seems fishy...

 

I just called them my 3 months are up today. Told them a friend had got a letter with promotion code.....1yr for $77.00 . He told me I would have to have a letter to get the xmas
special. Oh Well..................
