Just wait until your subscription runs out, in about a month they'll beg you to come back for only $77 for the year. That's what I'm paying.

hell, I got ripped then. Mine ran out and the didn't beg, they flat out said $147 for yr. I let it go for about 2 months and I was going nuts in the morning. HATE morning radio![:@]I went to school with the guy on the main station around here "Jimmie Jam" if anyone is from Central Ohio and knows who I'm talking about. He was a dork then and is now, but he thinks he's cool because he's on the radio. So I called them back, still $147. I bit the bullet and paid it.

I pay $407.04 a year for Sirius radio. That includes me, my son and two of his buddies. Earlier I said three of his buddies but I was mistaken.

It breaks down like this. For me it's $12.95/month and the other three radios it's $6.99/month for a total of $33.92/month. But we divide the yearly cost evenly 4 ways so it costs each one of us $101.76/year. They pay me for the entire year and I make the monthly payments with my Visa card. For the family plan you can not pay by the year, you must make monthly payments so theycharge my cardautomatically every month.

If you enjoy it then it's worth it. Ours comes down to $8.48/month but there's 4 of us to split the bill. I'd pay anything not to have to listen to regular radio and all those commericals.

very odd, the XM rep first asked me what plan I was interested in...I said the 1 yr/$77 deal, she said I'll set that up for you (and this was about 1 week before my trial ended)

Thanks for reminding me about this deal. Just called...no hassles sign-up for $77 per year plus "applicable taxes." Was done in three minutes and didn't need a code. She said there's no activation fee with that plan either. Just in time for a cross country trip through lotsa no radio zones.
