No, my mom works for me....My Alpha came with the Bridgestone Duellar tires.....I like them a lot....they hold and ride good, just softer rubber so you have to keep them rotated. I like the 285's...just the right size.

There's a Solar Flare Alpha Club???? Just kidding!

One thing I did notice, is that the Alpha gets much better gas mileage than the I5. They both have the same 23 gallon gas tank...right???? and you were all right.....the ones that said it is night and day with the driving experience between the two......I'm really loving it....The Alpha is so quiet compared to the I5....My I5 seemed noisy....you would hear the engine noise a lot more....The Alpha: you could hear a pin drop. The ride is great to....the off road package gives it the little extra that my I5 was missing......

Now I have to get busy and add my side steps, and find a brush guard, vent visors, roof racks, etc....fun fun!!!! I found a lot of items on ebay......just have to get the $$$ first!

 

That's the one thing with Hummers, you can't help but to add mods to it.

I just wanted to let everyone know about the deal that Pape Hummer did for me.....They took my old H3 back and canceled the lease with GMAC. The owner was able to do this because it was within 30 days....I'm not saying that all dealerships can do this, but he did. Everything reverted back to the way it was when I bought my first one...I received all the down payment back on the Alpha and I added a little more to make it more price friendly.....They also put a new set of mudflaps on my Alpha, because I bought and paid for them to install the flaps on the H3. They wouldn't throw in the roof racks.....I tried!
I've been eyeing the ones on ebay......lot less expensive and look just as good. They are made by Steelcraft...anyone have those?
Anyways, the salesman that I dealt with this time was Jun Mario. He is really nice and tells you like it is. He knows his Hummers inside out! Very professional and didn't say "I don't know" at any time. The sales manager is Mark.....He is also very nice, even though I was giving him a really hard time He actually came in, even though he was battling the flu, just to do my paperwork!
I thougt I would let everyone in the North East Region know, who actually was great to work with...just in case you are thinking of purchasing a new Hummer up here, in this neck of the woods....
