Yes, me to.....I don't want one problem with this Alpha.....The worst I have heard of is the belt squeak, and possible steering shaft....but I know about them and will not complain

I just hope I like it, when I take it out for a test drive....from what everyone says it's night and day.....

rhill20.....was that an intentional misspelling of my name??? It's probably what I did to Mike, when I was down there last weds...LOL!!!!!

I'm 32 almost 33....Feb 16th to be exact....

Hey solarflare
Congrats on the new ride and welcome. I'm a new guy also as I just picked up my H3 Alpha on Jan. 2. I almost choose the solarflare but went with the white instead as I'm a bit more conservative and much older.
I had the dealer install the roof marker lights but I installed the brush guard and put bigger tires on it. Have you thought about leveling the front end? That’s my next project.
The guys on this board have been a big help. If you have any questions just ask them and they willled you in the right direction.

I want the roof marker lights to.....they look good....I'm gonna see if they will throw in a set tomorrow or at least try......after all the grief they have put me through

I like your tires....are they the BFG TA/KO's??? I wanted them on mine, but they said the load range wasn't right for the hummer........not sure why though

My second color choice is white.....I don't think I have a choice though.....I think the solar flare one is the only one they have.......

Solarflare,

My dealer wouldn’t “throw in” anything because they don’t deal on these trucks at all! They sell them as fast as they can get them and like you I had the choice between white and solarflare and I took the white.
Did you say your Mom works for the dealer? She should be able to get your parts for cost.

Make friends with the parts guy and service manager. I paid big bucks for the marker lights but got a great deal on the other parts I bought (it’s a long story) but I don’t think I’m going back to my dealer because they are not “mod friendly”.

My tires are BFG TA/KO 295/75R16D (max load 3415#) and I think the Goodyear P265/75R16 that come on the truck are load range E ( max load 3415#) so they are just being picky. You'd be better off buying theBFG TA/KO'ssomewhere else and then selling the Goodyears as new or at least that's what I did.
