My question is....why come here and shi+ on people who WANT to own and drive their HUMMER? This is a free country (for now...). Don't like daily driven HUMMERs? Then don't drive one.

My point is I don't goto web site that promote say, Ford Escorts and tell the owners they shouldn't own them. Why? Just to be confrontational?

It smacks of juvenile behavior.

I have an H2 as my primary driver, everyday, all the time. I have three kids and tow a TT in the summer months. I live in a state that is prone to heavy snowfall. I want to KNOW I can go where I want, WHEN I want. And I can tow what I want when I want...and I want a big vehicle in the event I have an accident with my kids in the vehicle.

But if I lived in sunny LA and wanted to drive a HUMMER, why not?

Anyway...cheers all,

Maybe...maybe not, but I am positive the outcome of the GEO would be the same no matter WHAT vehicle hit you....don't hate bro...just because your making bad decisions in life doesn't justify your irrational and childish comments.

P.S. The fact that you drive a GEO says everything.......

Peace

No, ANYONE that hits a semi, in that way, with that force will die.

The fact that I drive a GEO says everything? How? That I like to not come across as a douchebag everywhere I go? That I make smart decisions? That I don't have to flaunt my money to feel good? That it's nice to be able to do a U-turn on a 4 lane? That I can find a parking spot? That I can actually trust my driving skills instead of relying on the mass of metal around me? Unlike you, I don't need the (false) male enhancement that a Hummer delivers. What does it say?

The only Hummer I want is from my wife.

Please visit www.cng-ohio.com and view our CNG Hummer. It causes what is known as SHE syndrome in leftist tree huggers (SHE=spontaneous head explosion)...

I think quite a lot of my H2... It is bar none the BEST vehicle I have EVER owned...

Why is there not Ford, Chevy, and Dodge pick-up truck and duely hate?

quite baffling to me really...

I can only imagine how insecure someone must feel to turn up on a forum for a car you don't possess, and then rant away about the size of people's penises, their driving etc.

Personally I'm surprised you even have a wife, let alone one who is going to suck your twig and berries.

Don't you think it displays rather a lot of arrogance to make assumptions about why other people chose to buy a car?

Here's why I own a Hummer H3
1) I live in Arabia, the drivers here are nutters. I drive well I think - not a speed freak (hence happy with the Hummer 3.7) and never had an accident. Its the dirving of the other people I'm worried about! The death toll here on the roads is about 7 times that in the UK for each mile driven.
2) The United Arab Emirates is a beautiful country, but some of the best scenery (desert, mountain wadis, etc) is only accessible by 4x4. Since I want to enjoy those areas, I need something that can get me there. I don't know what a Geo is, but can it get you across a desert full of 40 metre high sand dunes?
3) Fuel is cheap
4) I like the car - I could have bought a Rangerover, Landcruiser, etc and that might have made you happier, but to be honest, I don't care what you think. Both of those are big, use just as much fuel, so are you on their forums bugging them about the size of their penises?

If I did a city commute in London (where I used to live) I'd probably have chosen something quite different - I used to have a beaten up Renault Clio 1.2 that was perfect. No one even mentioned the size of my ***** back then? Does buying a big car really make it shrink?

But why get so bothered about what other people are driving?

As for the original comment about "feeding the enemy"? What is that about? The UAE produces a lot of oil in the Gulf - the folks here are very nice chaps (even if they are very bad drivers)! The Gulf is an excellent market for US cars - there are loads of Hummers over here, whats the problem with buying their oil if they buy your cars and help keep American autoworkers in jobs?

Metrodriver started this thread 08.21.2009. He has a strange Hummer fixation. We may be his only friends. If we stop responding to him he may go into a deep depression and cause him to commit unspeakable acts to himself or others.

You make some good points, most of them are irrelevant.

You are a BIG exception to the rule: Live where gas is CHEAP, drive the H3, actually may need the safety of it, actually need the 4x4.

I'm just sorta trolling here guys, not really meaning to offend anyone. My OP was WHY you drive them, and most of you did answered that fine.
