Default Question about fitting new wheels on h3

Hey everyone.
I'm new here. My wife has a 2010 h3. I bought her some fuel boost wheels. 16x8. The tire shop wouldn't install them because I need hub centric rings. They also said the tpms would not fit correctly in these wheels.

Has anyone installed these wheels without the rings? What should I do about the tpms?

Thanks!

Best to know what wheels fit before you burn cabbage.

A search is always a good thing. From an old thread, post by Bunger:
Stock OEM 16" diameter wheel is 7.5" wide, 6x5.5"(6x139.7mm) lug pattern, 101 mm center bore, offset is 30mm, and back spacing is 5.5".

When choosing new wheels you need:
1) 6x5.5" lug pattern
2) 101 mm minimum center bore. (H3's are HUB centric, meaning that the wheels locate on the hub center, which is 100 mm, so you can't go too large on the center bore either)
3) 5.5" MAX backspace, less backspace will make tires stick out more as will wider wheels.

IMHO, re-sell the wheels you bought by mistake and buy some that fit.

They fit. The centerbore is 106mm so they are only 5mm larger that's why the shop wanted to put rings on.

I ran some with the 106mm centerbore without the rings and they were fine.
