You can't be more wrong dear sir! People caused problems and death, not the religion. And if not for religion, trust me, they would have other good reasons for their deeds.
As for religion, i don't want to offend anybody, but atheist are simply stupid trying to "convert" religious people. Religion if something that teaches people humility, and i mean people, not extremists (which are in every religion same as in let's say every political beliefs), it's something that pushes people to think over what they do, it's about giving them feeling that what they do will be judged, and that is one of greatest things that religion could give us, every religion, including Christianity and Islam. And why the hell should atheists complicate their lives by teaching people that things they do can be unjudged, that theres no reason beside social interactions to be simply kind to others? That is what i call stupid, because they're ones who are really taking advantage.

And as for post scriptum, I'm a med student, i saw a couple of things in my life, and i was basically raised in hospitals, trust me, religion can be powerful tool if it comes for will of life, and "miracle" recoveries which truth to be told aren't so rare as if you would say. Belief is strong tool.

I do not try converting people to anything, I figure if your dumb enough to pray to some mythical all knowing created the universe being then there is no help for you and I wouldn't want you converted and playing on my side anyway.

 

Actually i had 12 years of history. I know what was done in the name of religion, i simply think there always would be a reason, if not for religion.

And second thing, we were "made" to follow religions, from ancient times, people everywhere around globe had their religions, it's not a concept you learn, it's something deep down inside.

You're (probably, but that what most atheists believe in) believing that there was nothing, which exploded, and gave everything. Which basically abides most elementary rule of macro and microchemistry, substrates MUST be equal with products, there can't be result without an action.
That's not really different then "silly religions".

Arguing religion with an atheist is utterly ridiculous in the first place, they already know that you believe in fairy tales and we only listen because you sound hilarious.
