My take is what it is and I never said YOU have to like it or agree. To the blingers, enjoy your ride, and if it fits you then more power to you. Just don't expect me to agree with you and call me a "Hater", whatever that is.
A few months ago I saw a woman, or actually my son saw her first, about 70ish driving a street rod. She was putt-putting down the road like most old people do in Florida and I couldn't help but to marvel. I thought "Why" would this old lady be tooling down the road in a car that could probably snap her neck if she got on it? But she was smiling from ear to ear and Irealized it was HER ride and she liked it. 'Nuff said!
So we'll drive our respective HUMMERs and we'll like the ones we like and be happy about it. If I think your HUMMER looks like a Hooptie or a Ghetto Cruiser, so what?! You might think mine looks like a Red Neck Mobile. Who cares, just move on and do your own thing, in your own ride, with your own set of ideas on what looks best for YOU. Just don't call me a "Hater" because I think your ride looks funny.

What I was trying to say way back on the first page is: It is the very purpose of these boards to SHARE OPINIONS, debate various topics, and even engage in constructive criticisms! There may have been a couple minor misunderstandings in this thread, but I think we all recognize we are on the same team. The HummerForums team! My sense of humor is different from others, but I think most of us were just having some fun. The written english language isnot likea face to face conversation (no body language/expression). Certain pieces of a post out of context might not covey the intent of the author. Let us all, me included, keep it fun and constructive. A littlerazzing is all part of it,but we allshould try to not be personally offensive. Thanks all.

I shouldn't fan the flames, but I'm with HummBob - there was a definite "trolling" tone to the original post. And based on his response, he is still hating and doesn't even know it!
Nice though that the consensus is pretty clear - to each his own!
My additional $.02 is that all the soccer moms andpavement-pounders buying Hummers is only good news for the 4x4 1%'ers - it keeps GM interested in the Hummer brand because of all the $$$ it makes and will keep the product line improving and proliferating. Look at Porsche - they come out with the Cayenne that pi$$ed off just about every Porsche traditionalist out there, but with sales through the roof it enables them to come out with GT3's, Carrera GTs, etc. and even made them so much cash that they bought a piece of mega-company VW. Who woulda thunk it?
