I'm STILL waiting for the details. I called Mike again about it. He's been really busy with his new job so everything is cool. I still have to buy the damn CB. I'm worried about my tires. They are half worn already. Hopefully I won't get stuck.

Remember, you need to have a fire extinguisher in your vehicle. It doesn't have to be mounted as far as I know. I'm going to call them and ask them about the flags. I'm pretty sure they give you one.

MY wife will not be joining us, which I don't understand since she's been bugging me to take her off-roading for so long. I think she's worried about being the only female there, plus being the youngest person there!

Mine was a bit bummed out she had to work that weekend but too short of a notice for her to change the schedule around ...

 

tell her to strap a set on and go!!! This is a once ... well.. maybe 5 times in a life trip... I mean, hell... I'll be there.. That's enough to make some people quit their job to make this!

 

Bwahahahaha .. yeah .. I'm sure she will get RIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT on that! She is an ICU nurse ... once that schedule is set for the next 6 weeks they are basically prohibited from changing it!

 

OK Guys. Bad news. They changed the date from March 25th to April 1rst for the official outting. I guess they want to have time to go to the trails before everybody else and clean them. I'm just the messenger. I can't go April 1rst because I have tickets to go to a Chicago Bears convention with my wife that she's been waiting months to go to, and it's limited attendance.

I just found this out right now. I'm not the planner so it wasn't my decision. BUT, if you guys want, maybe us 3 can still meet up and go it alone. Since none of us really have any experience doing it, I'm not sure if that would be such a wise idea lol. What do you think? Sorry about this. I'll talk to Mike. I think him and the head of our club are still going on that day, so maybe we can still have a small get-together. I don't want it to ruin our fun! Let me know if you guys still want to do this, and we'll have our own little outting!

I'm not sure if my wife is coming yet or not. I am just a little paranoid about going with fewer people because this is my only vehicle and if something happens to it, I'm in trouble lol.
