I would go to the KY thing but that's just too far for someone that only has 1 car and has the possibility of breaking it lol. I would be screwed if I got stuck there. If you still want to go to the Badlands, us 3 can still go, but it looks like Me and Nick are going solo. I mean what's the worst that can happen? We'll just be careful and won't do any of the advanced trails. If Mike comes, he has a ton of gear and knows the trails, plus has experience, so we should be good. I'm trying to get my wife to come. Maybe we can still have a group. Well, whatever, I still want to go damnit! lol

The Hummer Grill is coming with me regardless lol. We just cooked some dogs on there last night. MAN what a fine piece of metal that thing is

 

I'm still in assuming I don't end up being solo LOL! I have my vacation day already approved and by gawd I'm going to enjoy me some dirty offroad fun somewhere, somehow!!!!!! I just don't want to end up driving 4 hours to find out I'm the only one if you get my drift LOL! If you are in for sure Mike, count me in too!

 

Me and the wife are still in... Meeting there at 8 or 9 am is perfect...

The rest of the folks are just going to miss out on teh fun!

 

Do you want to meet at the park itself? What highway did you say you were coming off of? Maybe we can meet half way.

 

I'll be there at 8 AM too, at the park that is! Unless you guys want to meet up a bit later, just let me know what works out best .. whether I have to get up at 3 or 4 AM to get there makes no difference, I'm more or less brain dead that time of day anyways LOL!!!!

 

Why do I have the feeling you won't show lol. I just have that feeling that work is going to call you and you won't be there. I'm bringing my wife's brother in place of her lol. She apparently has changed her mind about wanting to go off-roading. DOH! We should have kept the freakin' Scion xB (yeah right).

 

If you guys will be there for sure, I will too, work or no work. They normally don't get in until 9 AM on Sundays so if they call I'll be well outside their reach and they will have to rely on my gawd awful boss instead.

 

See, right there is your problem buddy. It's Sunday, you are NOT working, so regardless of whether they call or not, you are OFF and you are NOT THERE. KAPEESH?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! DOH!

YES, we have pretty much set in stone we will be there regardless of what happens. Now we have to figure out if we meet at the park, at a central spot and caravan there, or just come on our own, and what time.

 

Still on call bro ... nature of the beast for now ... :/ Still have to have the phone with me in case *I* need it but laptop and PCS card staying home this time around ... Been looking forward to this little trip and I'll be damned if work is getting their foot inbetween me and going!

My suggestion would be to meet at the park. Granted, I'm new to the area and I'm not quite sure what's all around there ... if we meet up earlywe can always try to grab breakfast somewhere prior to gettin' muddy .. alternatively you can always cook us all breakfast since you're bringing your grill LOL!!!! I'd be inclined to say 8 or 9 AM as a good meeting time. Like I said, whether I have to get up at 3 or 4 really doesn't matter to me so whatever works best for everyone else is what I'll stick to.

 

how about 8:30.. we meet somewhere to food and chat then off to the park?
