The thing I'm wondering about is A) the roll bar rule (which apparently didn't apply to Hummers since they guys went last time) and B) The Flags. I guess maybe we do need to buy our own. Any idea where to get a magnetic stick-on flag pole for the trucks? I'm picking up the CB this weekend.

 

go to a bicycle shop and buy a flag there. you can zip tie it to the front grill guard and it will sit 2 feet above the roof. the rules are the same as most off road parks, the roll bar stuff is for the guys that bring their vehicles that consist of nothing but frames. you've got internal roll protection built into the truck, so you'll be fine. besides, the H3 has such offroad prowess, i don't think it's physically possible to roll one. just stay clear of ZYNE, he'll be floppin' all over the place. you'll probably have to strap him over any obstacle higher than a pebble . . . . . I ordered the same handheld CB you have. I got it off ebay NEW for $67. Woohoo. It should be here Wednesday. I bought my fire extinguisher at the local grocery store for $17.99 which was a First Alert I think, but it's rated for anything, chemical or electrical. The only thing I have left is the flag, and to take off the side-steps. I don't plan on doing anything too extreme since this is my only car, but hopefully everything will be good.

HummerMike is also going with us. He'll be there on Saturday but he's going to go back with us on Sunday, so he'll know the trails very well.

I think the plan will be for Me to go meet Mike at his house, then meet up with Jeremy somewhere, then head to the trails, maybe pick up something to eat, whatever's clever.

I'm still in for it ... though I'm somewhat confused as to where and when we are "officially" meeting up lol ... At least I would need some sort of definite time/place due to the drive up there ... If you guys are meeting up for food initially, let me know where and when and I'll hook up with ya's there .. if not, give me a time when you guys will be at the park and I'll go with that.

 

Well, I'm going to go pick up Mike since I've been there already and it's on the way, then we are going to drive and meet J, but I don't know where yet. I'm going to map it out today and pick a spot. I thought you were just going to meet us up at the park. I'll figure it all out by the end of the day.

 

Well, if you guys are stopping for food prior to it, I was seriously considering doing that as well ... Especially since I'll be up rather early .. or late .. to get there ....I guess both works .. lol! Just lemme know ...
